BIOS is a piece of software designed for Windows operating systems and PCs. It stands for 'Basic Input/Output System' and is integral to the functioning of your PC and operating system. It is used to get the system started once the machine is turned on and manages data flow between the Pc itself and external and internal devices, such as the hard disk, keyboard, mouse or printer. This software can perform a number of important tasks, such as saving, validating or deleting the BIOS settings.
Adjust settings easily
For most PC users, they’ll never be required to access BIOS. For those that do, however, this software can help control and adjust settings and diagnose hardware and software issues. Through the program, users can save and restore setting, validate settings to saved settings or delete the setting in some rare cases. It also serves to display information about the BIOS and find passwords for Award, Ami, Phoenis and AST. You can even dump the whole segment to disk or turn the PC into Suspend or Stand-by mode.
For the professionals
This program isn’t for every PC users to access, but for those that do, it’s a valuable tool. If you’re not sure how to use it, it can cause more problems than it can fix. If, however, you’re looking to adjust settings that you know you can adjust, it’s the perfect way to do so.
